(Southeast Asia Resource Action Center 2004)
Variations in education levels among AAPI subgroups are also striking. Although approximately 80% of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have at least a high school degree, a closer look into AAPI subgroups shows us that while 92% of the Japanese population have high school diplomas, only 41% of the Hmong population does. (Southeast Asia Resource Action Center 2004).
